It's about me, Chesney Richardson and my thoughts of technology in an ever changing world.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">I am a Network Security engineer, with about five years of expierence with Large Linux and Microsoft driven networks. My main focus is Linux platforms thought I have no problem operating Microsoft networks. I have been responsible for creating from scratch a system to handle cable head ends for wired and wireless cable internet connections.<br /><br />Among other things, I am also an avid PHP programmer. I started out my technology path at about age 10 when I started getting into websites I built my first website at 13. Extereme Gaming Online was the original site. It lasted quite some time, never with a heavy fanbase. I started delving into the world of dynamic programming with the release of PHP 3. I began to focus on Vbulltin and PHPBB boards soon after toying with php.<br /><br />At 17 I went to a boarding school in New Market Virginia, Shenandoah Valley Academy. There was my first real job that tested my Networking and Security skills. I spent a year there, where I promptly proceeded to flunk out - not the highlight of my life.
